The Bellrock in Arbroath. You might have heard the name before. We have been the Bellrock since 2006. The name was changed from the Bervie chipper in 2006, while it was an independent business but being run with the same name we were making big changes and improvements and entering awards. We felt it was important to disassociate ourselves from the Bervie name we have a different outlook on fish and chips. We strive to serve great tasting and quality fish and chips in Arbroath. We do this by using fresh quality ingredients and cooking your food fresh, the way it should be.

For a long time we was the only fish and chips business to hold the sea fish quality award and coming in the top 5 in the whole of Scotland.

You can come into our takeaway or restaurant and have your food freshly cooked just for you. We also do the world famous local delicacy the Arbroath Smokie. Also a must to try is our exclusive Battered/Breaded Smokie which started a media frenzy! A fantastic way to enjoy Arbroath Smokies without the hassle of the skin and bones.

Also exclusive to the Bellrock is Spicy Fish. As seen on TV, Pieces of fresh haddock fillet sliced and then cooked in a special spicy batter. If you like spicy food or fancy a change give it a try we are sure you will love it! If you fancy something different we have a wide menu which caters for all tastes and includes pizzas, burgers, macaroni, steak pie, steaks etc. We also have a very popular lunchtime buffet which consists of your favourites like battered haddock, chips, pudding, sausages and more to soups, pastas, pizzas and desserts.
